Welcome To JSP
At Just So Pretty we strive to deliver flawless treatments crafted with care with our clients vision in mind to each person that walks through our door, every, single, time. but that's not all...
Our founder set up Just So Pretty wanting to modernise and elevate the salon experience whilst keeping customer service at the forefront of everything we do. Each client touch point from enquiry to aftercare has been carefully planned out and designed, upgrading all of the things in between (even down to your toilet trips!)
You'll notice that through our social media, our aesthetically thought out salon environment and events we attend as a team we target our audience specifically. This isn't just to make JSP your favourite fortnightly 'instagramable' spot, it's to make each of our clients feel right at home. A place you can relax and go from 'It's lovely to meet you' to 'How's it going with Jessica from work?' in a shorter time than you did with your best friend!
All of our team are completely self employed with contracts that work for them and their business as we endeavour to see each of our therapists thrive, grow and became business bosses in their own right. Which leads us onto our academy...
Just So Pretty Academy and, our specialist eyelash training academy, Lash Tech Guild, doesn't just teach our students how to carry out treatment, we take each of our individuals from start up beauty enthusiasts to successful therapists that have the sky as the limit for where they want to go, how much they want to earn and how they want to live their lives.
Welcome to JSP, we do things differently here.
An Introduction From Our Founder
Hey! I'm Chloe, a 27 year old beauty enthusiast and I'm thrilled to welcome you to my baby, JSP!
My journey in the beauty industry began back in January 2018 whilst I was studying primary education at university. I decided to make my passion in makeup a flexible part time job to earn some extra cash on the side. I then trained in eyelash extensions after clients requesting them, and that's when I fell head over heels for the first time...in love...with my job (who'd have thought my first love would be a career path!)
After graduating later that year, I landed my first teaching job in a Year 6 class where I stayed for 2 years. I enjoyed it, but as time went by I realised my love for the beauty industry was growing uncontrollably and soon I had trained in nails, lashes, brows and facials.
Christmas 2019 came around and I decided I was going to hand in my notice and officially leave primary teaching the following September. I began to look for a premises for my brand new salon and I found the perfect place, opposite Ormskirk's beautiful church on the high street. By February 2020 I had signed for it and had the perfect plan for the next 6 months. However, the worst happened a month later; the March 2020 first lockdown announcement. I spent the next 12 months trying to remain hopeful, plowing all of my savings into the property and redecorating top to bottom on my own (thank god for Ikea). I also decided to put my teaching qualification to good use and invest in obtaining my beauty training qualification so we could also double up as an academy-best decision I've ever made! I love teaching and I'm thrilled I've been able to combine my two loves.
Fast forward two more years, finally out of the pandemic and open to the public. I now have the best beauty therapists and educators working alongside me to bring you the best in the beauty industry at every visit.
My true love will always be lashes, this is where the passion began, so I leave the rest to our specialists (you're in very talented hands) and I've started a brand new business venture 'Lash Tech Guild' alongside lashing at the salon. Lash Tech Guild was created after realising the poor training standards in the lash world so I'm planning on changing the world with our LTG courses. However, until then you'll often see me with a pair of tweezers in my hand in my natural habitat and I'm hoping you can join us for a coffee or two at JSP at your next pamper.
Love always,
Chloe
